Introduction
Marja, Else and Hans Keuker are enthusiastic miniaturists since 1983 . Else makes plants, silver and grindssemi - precious stone bowls.
Hans make together with Marja the dollhouses and takes cares of the electricity, Marja makes the most of the furniture and has the biggest fantasy so she designs the projects.

In 1984 Marja build her first “normal” dollhouse, but soon that was a bit boring, so she decided to make projects with a theme, like the Greek square, the Christmas store, the Victorian witches house and Chinatown. The art is to try to create something new, something that hasn’t been made before in the miniature world. A plant had to have a old brown leaf and the miniatures have to be accurate for their period. Also local habits and rituals of this period ( for instance Victorian) or from a country (like China ) are always carefully studied, that makes also the preliminary investigation so interesting, with visits to a museum, bookstores or shops or even , if possible visit the country.

Marja is now more and more specialized in woodworking, she makes small furniture and boxes with inlay techniques like marquetry and parquetry with different kind of woods.At this moment she is designing and making Chinese, Japanese and Moroccan miniatures.
